extended keyboard error

Upgraded from 98 to xp pro. I receive an (HP Extended
Keyboard Error) error message asking that I uninstall
using Add/Remove programs in Control Panel. I did this
but still get the error message on boot up.

It sounds like your keyboard needs drivers specific to XP. Go to HP's
website (or to the keyboard mftr.'s site if the keyboard isn't from HP
- I couldn't really tell from your post) and download XP drivers.
