Extend recent documents

Hi,

How do i increase the number of items in the recent documents folder off the
start menu? I would like to access more than the usual.

WARNING - editing the Registry can be dodgy. Make a backup of it first

Yes - it's possible. To do so you have to go to the registry key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
create (change) here dword value "MaxRecentDocs" and set it to equal the
number of documents to display in the recent documents list.
