Extend.Dat Error

I have Outlook 2003. I just installed Active Syn 3.7.1
and I now get the following error when I open Outlook:

An extension failed to initialize. Can't open file:
extend.dat. The file may not exist, you may not have
permission to open it, or it may be open in another
program. Right-click the folder that contains the file,
and then click Properties to check your permissions for
the folder.

Is there a way to fix this?

Try deleting the extend.dat file -- Outlook will just recreate it, and you
won't lose any data or functionality. You may have to search in hidden
folders to find that file, depending on your OS.
