Hi,

I was wondering how you export account settings in Outlook 2007, seems they
have removed the export/import account settings button.

I don't get what you mean?

It was in Outlook 2003, in Outlook 2007 it is gone... I hear there is some
exporting tool but there is very little information.

Nope, wasn't there in in Outlook 2003 either. I believe Outlook 2000 version
was the last version that allowed you to do this. Then we had the Office
Save My Settings Wizard and now it's all pretty much up to Windows XP's
Files and Settings Transfer Manager, Window Vista's Windows Easy Trasfer or
their overall backup facilities.

To deploy Office with settings you can run the Office Customization Tool. To
do this run setup from the Office CD with the /admin switch.

There were two different things for backing up account settings - Outlook
2000 IMO could export to an iaf. Other versions use save my setting wizard
along with the one in the OS. Neither does very good at it.

Ah ok then...

Is there anyway to export the settings via registry or something?

you can export the registry - HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles.

Note that you'll have errors if you use addins on one machine and don't use
them on the other or if the pst name or location is different - so this is
not recommended.

There are a couple of tools you can use instead:
