Exporting / Importing Outlook data

I have exported my Outllook 2003 data in "Personal Folders" to an external
hard
drive and imported to a different computer running Outlook 2007, using
instructions from Microsoft Help & Support.

The data file is on the new
computer in C/Documents & Settings/my name/local settings/application
data/microsoft/outlook - shows as Type:Microsoft office outlook personal
folders.

Why hasn't it imported into Outlook 2007 so I can see the emails and other
data
in Outlook when I launch it? How can I do that?

Create a profile in Outlook, then open it. Click on File > Open and browse to
your PST file.
