Hi,
I just purchased a Ipod and understand I can export my contacts into the
Ipod. The only problem is I do not know how to export in the vcard format.
Outlook does not seem to allow this. Can anyone help? Am using Outlook 2000
and have a Ipod mini.

Frank look at the help in outlook it will tell you. Your next problem is
that you can only output these contacts one at a time which is a painful
process if you ahve a lot on there. But there is a solution

I found a small program in the US called vcard 4 outlook and it will let you
export bulk outlook contacts in vcard format either the whole lot or folder
by folder. mine are organised in folders personel business etc the prgram
cost USD9.95 which is about £6 just type it in google it should come straight
up. It works a treat. The only puzzle is it seems to export the whole folder
to one file. When you connect your ipod to your PC just drag that file across
to the contacts folder on your Ipod and even if you have more than one folder
they will all be listed.

Frank if you type in Vcard 4 outlook there is a web site that offers a
program to do this it will either import or export vcard files to and from
outlook either individully or by folder (if you have your contacts organised
by folder ie personel, business, etc) it costs USD 9.95 doesnt take long to
download and works treat, i exported 800 contacts into my ipod mini and
including download time it took about 30 mins. I am no expert believe me. It
works well. Hope this helps

Ok
