Export report

Hi,
I've been reading about exporting reports in MsAccess, but have not been
able to come to any good solutions with exporting an MsAccess report and
keeping some values other than from a query or table (ex.: sub-totals.
groups, etc.). I've also been creating Crystal Reports, which can very
nicely export the reports, including sub-totals, groups, etc to Excel.
Because the people in my company are so used to the efficiency of the exports
from Crystal, they're expecting the same from MsAccess. (Not to offend
anyone, since Access is a very strong tool in data reporting.) Is there a way
to export more sub-totals, groups, etc from MsAccess to Excel? Any pointers
would help. Thanks in advance.

to Excel?

a little confusing because you begin discussion with Crystal and conclude
with Excel....

in Access - "Reports" are for printing/viewing on screen...(one can also
'export' to a Word doc as an intrinsic function)

but to export to Excel you would want to be in a Table as that is in a
similar grid format...

I understand that I can export the contents of a table or query into Excel
(using outputto and transferspreadsheet functions) easily. But, I'd like to
explore more sophisticated options to export reports from Access to Excel. I
mentioned Crystal because of its ease of use and good exporting function to
Excel (it exports all vaules that are visible on the report to Excel).
Since both Access and Excel are Microsoft products, I'm thinking there's got
to be a sophisticated way to export reports between the two programs, even if
there's a need to write some codes.
Has anyone encountered this requirement before?

I just found www.lebans.com. The guy(s) there have a real handle on a lot of
great stuff -- I do not work with them but suggest your spending a few
minutes over there to see if anything resonates.

I had a problem and thought one of their 'solutions' might be useful. I did
not work, but the methodology pointed the way to a real solution.

There are currently 3 guys that produce solutions for this site. Their names
are(in no particular order) Me, Myself and I.
