Export image on report to Word

I am currently using Access 2002. I have letters that are created as reports
in Access. I then have code that saves these as .rtf files, and sends them
over to Word so the enduser can use the Word letters. (I originally had this
as a MailMerge - but the processing time was too slow, so I am stuck with
doing it as reports in my Access database.)

Now I have to add the company logo into the header of the letter. My
research tells me there is no direct way to do this in Access 2002. Two
questions:

1) is there a relatively easy way to do it?

2) we are upgrading to Access10 this summer. Does Access10 directly support
this process?

4charity,

There is an easy (and quick) way to use Mail merge, have a look at...

As for Access 2010, I have not tried that feature yet so my answer would be
it does support export to rtf format but that help with the logo. (I guess
that means I better step up my playing with 2010!)

Hi Gina,
I should have been a little more explicit. The issue is not in using
MailMerge (I had successfully created the MailMerge for all of my 37 letters
- but the issue came in using it on our system - the processing time just
killed us, and we would get run-time errors.)

The first question was, is there a way to export the logo (bmp or other such
file) with the Access report to Word.

The second, more pertinent question, since we will be upgrading anyway - is
does Access10 support this image move from reports to Word?

,

The only way I see to capture an image when exporting is to *Export to PDF*.
RTF does not support images in any version... I tested Access 2010 as well.
