Export from Outlook 2007 to Microsoft Mail/Contacts/Calendar

Hello:

I currently have all of my data in MS Outlook 2007 on a computer running
Windows XP SP2 and I want to transfer everything to a new computer with
Windows Vista Home Premium, but I no longer want to use Outlook.

I want to:

1. Export my mail and settings from Outlook to Windows Mail
2. Export my contacts from Outlook to Windows Contacts
3. Export my calendar from Outlook to Windows Calendar

Could you please point me to the appropriate knowledge base instructions for
doing this (if it exists), or some other instructions?

Thanks!

The conversion needs to take place at your Windows XP based machine.

Use Import from within Outlook Express to import your messages and contacts
from Outlook.
You can use File-> Save... in your Outlook Calendar to save your calendar to
an ics-file. Use the More Options... button to specify your date range.

Windows Mail can directly read the dbx-files you create in Outlook Express.
You can import the ics-file into Windows Calendar on Vista.
You can import the wab-file of Outlook Express in Windows Mail/Vista
Contacts

Awesome, thank you. I'll give that a shot!

My Outlook 2002 doesn't convert to the file format required by calendar.

Does anyone know of a converter that will work?
