Export addresses for Christmas Cards

I am using OL 2002 SP3 with 800+ contacts and I want to send about 100 of
them Christmas cards from an online service that requires the addresses in
..csv (DOS) format. I have selected all of them and made them part of the
christmas card 'catagories' without any problem. Now I can't seem to figure
out how to export just this catagory list to a new file in .csv. When I
'Exported' and selected all these items, my entire 800+ addresses showed up
in the new file. What did I do wrong?

Try creating a new contact sub-folder, add your contacts to that folder, and
then export that to a .csv file for your on-line option. Select the
category (from category view) and drag it to your new contacts folder.
