Explorer view

I have XP Home with all the updates. When I open Explorer
it insists on expanding the My Documents folder and I
have to scroll down to get to the C drive and expand
that. Is there a way to get the Explorer view to not
display in this fashion?

I hated that myself, got a trick from someone on one of the
newsgroups. I think it was purplehaz. Try this: right click the
desktop/New/Shortcut/Browse/expand My
Computer/click the C drive/OK/Next/Finish.
Right click the new icon/Properties/Shortcut tab/Change Icon
button/pick icon/OK/Apply/OK.
