Expirated Version Error

Fabiol

Hi, I saw numerous users had the same problem.
I simply changed in regional and country option of control
panel, into regional option tab, the date and time format
from my standards (italian) to English (US).
Of course, you have to own the latest version (1.0.615).

I've seen this error myself today on a pure English (US) machine. The
program came up as expired when I first ran it. This was on a laptop which
had been out of service for several months, so I wasn't surprised.

I downloaded and ran directly from the download. The upgrade appeared to go
fine, but on a restart, I still got Expired Version.

I uninstalled, deleted \program files\microsoft antispyware, and reinstalled
from a fresh download (since I hadn't saved the first one. That seemed to
do the job fine.

I'm not sure what happened. This machine was quite slow--not enough ram,
and I was doing multiple things at once--catching up with missing updates
for both Windows, Office, and several apps--Norton, Adobe Reader. So
perhaps I missed something about the first update.

At any rate, this one should be easily solvable--thanks for posting how you
did it!
