.exe - new application association

I mistakenly created an association for .exe extensions
and now none of my .exe files work. Does someone have a
fix for this, how can I restore the settings

Thanks Jim, will this work for windows 2000? If not, do
you know of a fix for windows 2000? Thanks.

Thanks dave. Does this require a reboot? I have been
afraid to shut done because the few things I had open when
I made this mistake are still working. If I shut down I
lose my outlook and access to the web if this doesn't fix
the problem.
