I am usint Outlook 2k and cannot send attachments of
type .exe. How do you modify the security settings or
list of attachment types to allow .exe attachments?

Or you could rename file.exe to file.exx before attaching it, and tell
the recipient to rename it back to file.exe. The registry hack only
works if you don't log onto a domain; if you log onto a domain, I
believe this hack can be overriden. So renaming the extension works
whether on a domain or not. It also eliminates the possibility that the
recipient accidentally executes the attachment since they have to rename
it first. What you use for the renamed extension is your choice. I use
..exx for .exe whereas some folks use .ex_ (but that makes it look like a
compressed file that you use extract.exe to decompress).
