Exclude items from being reported

I run a program that adds items to the task scheduler. Every time a new job
is added Defender shows a warning and I have to allow the change manually. Is
there a way to allow the program's action permanently or exclude it from
being reported?

Hello semko,

I think you may have to work at excluding it from the scan, as an interim
measure. Tools, general settings, scroll down to advance settings, and hit
the add button.

I hope this post is helpful.

Hi Engel,

thanks for the tip. I excluded the task folder and that did the trick. But
for obvious reasons this is only the second best solution. I would prefer to
allow the one program to create tasks but unfortunately that seems to be
impossible.

I have a similar problem to Semko. I keep on getting messages about an item
used by my virus checker BitDefender but I can't add it to the Allowed Items.
There is no "Always Allow" in the drop down list. Also I don't have just a
Tools menu, only a Tools and Options one, and there is no advanced settings
option.
