exchange - metadata cleanup

Hi

I had 3 administrative groups in my exchange organisation. I moved all mailboxes and public folders from Exchange Server 1 to Exchange server 2. I demoted exchange server 1 from DC to normal server. What I did not do is remove the the exchange software from server 1. EXchange server 1 does not exist any more... is dead. Will the metadata cleanup utility remove orphaned exchanged fields?

Metadata Cleanup will not remove Exchange information from Active
Directory.
