Exchange and POP3 on same profile?

Is it possible to have a profile in Outlook 2000 receive mail from both an Exchange server and a POP3 account?

If so, is it possible that the POP3 account can send messages showing POP3 address as the return address rather than the address on the Exchange server?

Having a mixed profile is not supported and while it can work and some users
never have a problem it is recommended to separate the services. To change
the sending account go to Tools > Services > Delivery and swap the Delivery
order!

FWIW Outlook 2002 and 2003 were the first versions to support what you
require.

Yes, provided you have Outlook installed in Corporate/Workgroup mode.

Yes, but it's been long enough since I used OL 2000 that I can't remember if
there is an Account button that shows next to the Send button, as in OL
2002/2003, if there is a drop-down as part of the Send button. or if there
is a menu item you can use to "send as".
