THere is a local domain that users have been using to snd/rcv e-mail
locally. We are now on the Internet. Have configured Exchange to
accept mail for users on their Internet domain name which is different
from the local name. This part works fine.
If I configure recipient policies so that a particular user has both
the internal and external addresses, reading mail works fine. Open
Outlook and messages from internal and external appear. However, when
trying to send mail, there is no choice of "from" address so
everything has the internal address. I may be missing something, is
there a way to configure this?
I do know that we could setup seperate mailboxes for internal and
external and then delegate the external mailboxes. As I remember it
this means having to change mailboxes in order to read one or the
other. I kinda like everything coming into one mailbox.
Any help or pointers would be appreciated.
