None too clear what you want.

Are these cell addresses?

Numbers are row references and letters are column references?

Do you want to SUM them?

=b4+b5+b7+b8 entered in b9 maybe?

Your question is ambiguous, and certainly not depicted as
an Excel formulas, (note spelling of Excel)
and assuming that you accidentally left out B6
I'd go with Roger's solution only I would something like
B9: =SUM(B$4:OFFSET(B9,-1,0))
the difference is that you can insert rows without having to
change your formula. Read more about at
