Excel XP: Why do my controls move to left side of sheet when I do.

I have placed controls (text boxes, command buttons, etc.) and set the
placement on all of them to Freefloating ("Do Not Move or Resize with
Cells"). When I perform a Print (or Print Preview), all the controls are
moved to the far left side of the worksheet. This does not happen when I set
the placement of the controls to
MoveAndResize.

This was fixed in the 10/12/2004 Security Update which you should be able to
get at Office Update.

Hi, Jim:

I downloaded the security patch and installed it.

I had two workbooks that exhibited this moving button problem; I had
previously fixed it by changing the placement to 1 (move and size with
cells) as noted in the original KB article.

After applying the patch, I changed the placement settings to 2 (move but
don't size with cells). One of the workbooks now behaves properly, the
otherone doesn't!

I guess it's back to the drawing board at MS on this one.
