I have a long sentense in a cell, cell format is set with word wrap
and row height is set to Autofit.
When the text is fitted to the width of the column, I find that th
last few word will disappear in the printout. the font is alread
using ture type font. It is not WYSWYG.
e.g I type the following in the cell:
a quick brown fox is
jump over the lazy dog
and the print out is:
a quick brown fox is
jump over the lazy

The word 'dog' will disappear in print preview and printout.
you can see the screen dump as attached.
cell setting:
Width=17
Heigth=Autofit
Wrap Text= Yes
Font=Arial
FontSize=12

Please help to solve the problem !

I've never trusted print|preview (or what appears on the screen) if I had to
have the paper output exactly correct.

I think the easiest solution is to change the height of the row (or width of the
column). Then print it and check it closely.

If it didn't look perfect, adjust the columnwidth or rowheight and try again.

Thanks Dave,

My xls contains hundreds of rows of data. A hardcopy to check th
result will cause a lot of paper wastage and it is also very tim
consuming. Is there any work arround solution?

Not that I'm aware.

Maybe print just the pages that might have errors???

Or maybe you could create a .PDF file--but that might look different than the
real paper copy, too.
