Excel Pivot Tables

Hi,

Is it possible to stop a pivot table grouping the row headings so that some
of the items in the row appear to have blank cells adjacent to them? This is
annoying if you want to run another pivot table on the results of your first
table. It means you have to copy and paste the row headings into all the
blank cells which can be frustrating if you have many lines of data.

What I would like is for the pivot table to show the row headings for all
the values regardless if it's the same as the cell above.

Or, is there another way round this (such as running a pivot table straight
over the top of the other for instance?)

Thanks in advance for any advice,

Greg

The row headings show once in a Pivot Table, and there's no setting you
can change, to force them to repeat.

To create the table with a heading on each row, you can copy the table,
and fill the blanks:

And you can create another pivot table based on the first one, by
selecting it as the source in the pivot table wizard.
