Excel Menu Bar Missing

I'm not sure happened, but the menu bar (file, edit,
tools, etc) in excel is missing and I can not figure out
how to get it back. We have tried reinstalling Office and
it did not seem to work. Any ideas?

Try to run this macro first Kristin

Application.CommandBars(1).Enabled = True
End Sub

Try this:
1) Open Excel then right click on the Menu Area or Toolbar area.
2) Select Customize.
3) Select Standard, Formatting, Task Pane and Worksheet Menu Bar then click reset.
