Found your previous answers on this but hasn't worked for us

Excel 2003 is giving "Compile error in hidden module : Definition"

Have serached web and not found anything releating to this compile error message folllowed by the word "Definition".

There are no add-ins selected and there is nothing in either of the two the XLStart folders you refer to in previous advice.

Running windows XP

Hope you can assist.
Thanks

Well in case anyone has had similar problem, here is the answer.

There is a module not installed in stndard Excel which our programmer had installed to enable the apllication he had built to work.

When we tried to run the application he had built on client PC's the "compile error in hidden module : (various resaons)" appears.

If you get siumilar you need to download and register the appropriate missing piece of Excel from

http://www.ascentive.com/support/new/support_dll.phtml?dllname=MSCOMCT2.OCX

I was hopeing that Excel 2003 SP3 would include this update automatically (a lot easier than getting clients to run teh above on evry PC) but can't find any evidence that it does.
