Excel 2002 Problems

I just recently upgraded to Excel 2002, I was using Excel
97. I have two problems with Excel 2002 that I did not
have with 97.

First problem: I use several add-ins that I obtained over
the internet. When I open Excel, the add-ins are not
available visually either shown on the Tools menu or as a
new drop down menu. The only way I can use them is to go
to Add-ins on the Tools menu, uncheck the all of the add-
ins, then go back to Add-ins and recheck each box. Now
all of the add-ins are available for me to use. How do I
get all of the add-ins to be visible when Excel opens?

Second problem: I use custom macro buttons that are
placed on the Formatting toolbar. The macos assigned to
each button are in my Personal workbook. When I open Excel
2002 the buttons do not work and I get a message that
says "A document with the name "PERSONAL.XLS"

The problem is that the custom toolbar buttons are still looking for
the original personal.xls path. I maintain my work and home pcs with
the same custom toolbar and macros in personal.xls, but my user names
are different. Therefore, I get the same problem, almost daily.

You need to re-direct the custom toolbar button OnActions, ie re-dirct
the links from the buttons to the new personal.xls location. This may
be easy to do as a once-off exercise for a small number of custom
toolbars, but is a royal pain for me, I can tell you!

I wrote a spreadsheet to do this automatically, given certain
restrictions. It works like a charm!

Regards,

Mark
