Every Time Outlook 2007 is closed, Error Msg occurs

For many months every time I closed Outlook 2007, I got an error message:
Outlook has encoutered an error and must close. (Duh -- I just closed it!)
The system wanted to send in an error report to Microsoft. I always allowed
it. After a few months it finally stopped -- thankfully. Now, after a few
months of "peace," it has started doing the same thing again -- suspiciously
close to a MS Automatic Update. I would like these error messages to stop.
Microsoft should be as sick of them as I am by now. Anybody have a clue as
to why this is happening?

You could try running Office Diagnostics, you could also use scanpst.exe on
your data file to see if it reports/fixes any errors.
The GUI of Outlook closes, but the process, outlook.exe, may be ending after
this, thus generating the msg

Having same problem. Running Office Diagnostics no help. How does one use
"scanpst.exe"? Any other suggestions for a solution. Thanks!
