Event Viewer Query

Hi

Using Win XP SP3

After first boot of the day there are 66 "Success" Security events showing
up in Event Viewer. Is this within normal limits?

Have tried to filter out everything except "error" messages but the default
view
"all records" returns at the next boot. The filter option doesn't stick.

Apparently this was/is a known bug by Microsoft (Article ID 136508). Have
searched for a fix without success, does anyone have a solution.

Is this XP Home or Pro? If it's Home, then you'll just have to live
with it. With XP Pro you can use the Policy Editor and change the
Auditing Policy settings so that it only shows the errors.

Is this XP Home or Pro? If it's Home, then you'll just have to live
with it. With XP Pro you can use the Policy Editor and change the
Auditing Policy settings so that it only shows the errors.
