Event Viewer error

I tried checking the technet site but I can't find an
explanation for:

source: userenv
error: 1000
category: none
user: NT Authority\System

windows cannot obtain the domain controller name for your
computer. Return value 59.

The user can access the domain. She is trying to upload
data to a pocket pc. I'm not sure which policy has to be
turned on her to be able to do this. Company policy does
not allow her to admin. rights on her own machine.

Any thoughts would be helpful.

I've seen that error in the past. I believe it's more of
a physical problem than software.. is the pocket pc cat or
serial? I'd try changing the cable first.. I know it
sounds crazy, but it's worked for me.. or any other
hardware between the pocket pc and you.. switch, hub, etc.
