Event View disk errors - problem?

I just learned about Event Viewer. I ran it and I have quite a few
disk errors. Most of the time they occur when my Norton Virus Scan is
running but there are errors at other times as well. There are some
disk errors every day.

The source is 'disk', the event is 7 and the error message says there's
a bad block.

My system seems just fine and I never would have continued in blissful
ignorance if I hadn't learned about Event Viewer.

Is there something I should do to follow up on this?
