Event Logs

I tried opening the event viewer on one of my domain controllers and rceived
an error stating the even log file is corrupt. What does this mena and how
can I resolve it? It appears that its just the security log.

Sometimes clearing the corrupt log will fix the problem [if you can].

Hi,

I suspect the scenario is:

Error Message:
The event log file is corrupt.

User Action:
Run Chkdsk with the /f option on the disk that contains the event log file.
