Event logs empty

Hi all,

Server 2000 SP4.

All my event logs (Application, System and Security) are
empty. They are not logging any event.

Any idea please ?

Try resetting the properties for each log to "overwrite as needed" and bump
up the max size to something much larger than the default - does that help?

Thanks for your reply.

The logs are empty. I do not see how these could be
overwritten nor do I know where I would be able to resize
them. It follows that after I installed the DNS server,
this problem occurred. Prior to this, it was fine.

Possibly your logs are corrupt. See the KB links below for a couple og

I usually use spell checker [cheating??] but since my reply was so short I
figured I could type one sentence without misspelling but I guess I was
wrong. Had a great time but always good to be back at the ranch.
