Hi All,
I am using an IBM ThinkPad A20M running WinXP. I have recently
upgraded to SP2. Once the upgrade was complete, I began seeing the
Event 3019 popping up, which others in this group have stated is safe
to ignore.
I am also using Outlook 2003 SP1 (11.6359.6360) connected to an
exchange server. I have a single mapped network drive, N:/, which
contains a synchronized copy of "My Documents", which lives on my
laptop and on the server while connected.
The behaviour I am seeing in the Event Log is, a series of the Event
3019 "MrxSmb" messages come up, in groups of 4-8 errors every couple
of seconds, and then the machine completely seizes up - mouse won't
move, and the laptop won't respond to CTRL+ALT+DELETE, requiring a
hard reboot.
I have been searching this group and the Internet for a while - I have
not seen anything. Anyone out there seeing similar behaviour? Or am
I unique (I hope not!)?
Tim
