EVE Online and Vista

Allan Robertson

Hello, I'm running Vista x86 Beta 2 version 5384, and trying to run EVE
Online. EVE does install and starts with the splash screen, but with the log
on screen it is only blank. I'm running a ATI Radeon 9200 card with the ATI
beta drivers. Does anybody have a help to get EVE running with my setup?

Thanks

i had the same problem with running EVE with Vista. Found one topic in the
eve-online forums wich solve the black logon screen problem and just let me
start eve

you have to add one Entry in the registry :

Registry Key: HKCU/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Current Version/Explorer/Shell
Folders called "Fonts" with the entry "C:/Windows/Fonts"

The Warning on start from the DX 9.0c warning can be ignored and you can
confirm with "yes"
