get this message when running Windows Installer (InstallShield wizard).
Even when updating..It says .."an error has occurred while running setup.
Please make sure you have finished any previous setups and closed other
applications..."

Error Code: -5003 : 0x5
Error Information:

$10.0.0.159
@Windows xp Service Pack 2 (2600) IE 6.0.2900.2180
Anyone know how to solve this. I've closed down all running applications
and running software (anti-virus; spyware) through the task manager. Still
get the 5003 error and then did a safe boot running only specific programs at
startup then tried to install...still error 5003. I have the latest update
Service pack 2, so this should not be an issue of updating. I have updated
my ATI drivers as well and still nothing.
Any suggestions on what to do? I've had suggestions on deleting the
InstallShield file so that when the software installs, it won't use
InstallShield, is that correct? Don't want to be to hasty in deleting things
that I shouldn't be deleting..HELP...
