You either have spyware or just plain crapware.

Process name: ATI External Event Utility
Product: ATI graphics driver
Company: ATI Technologies
File: ati2evxx.exe
Responsible for managing hotkey functionality for ATI video card display
drivers.

ATI External Event Utility EXE Module. This task can comsume lots of CPU
resournces on some computers, but it can help with graphics card problems.
Leave enabled unless it consumes too many CPU resources.

advertisements even while you are not surfing the Internet.

This application may serve various types of advertising, not limited to
pop-up ads.

Thank you for your response

1) running Norton internet security for the past 3 years didn’t have a virus

2) running lavasoft ad-aware that takes care of spywares etc.

3)don’t have graphic cards so the ? How do I remove that file

Ran "search files" and it showed 2files from "windows32

Will it be safe to move it to "removables" and then see how it reacts

Your answer is greatly appreciated Alex

It takes more than one anti-spyware app to catch everything. Ad-Aware is
not enough by itself for all the non viral malware out there. Also I
certainly wouldn't use NIS, NAV or any of those Norton home security
products.
