Error

Hi,
So I open windows movie maker, I click on 'file' -> import into collections
-> I choose a video, and then it starts to import the file. This part is
going as it's supposed to go, but.... when the import is finished and I add
clips to the timeline, this error report thing pops up, like everytime. It's
going on for months now (I just didn't have the time to do this)... Can
anyone please tell me what this is and how I can prevent this? I took some
screencaps actually:

So if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it very much! Thanks!

Its probably because the video is in MPEG format. Movie Maker doesn't
usually work well with it, and sometimes with various picture and sound
formats. Read up on this at PapaJohn's site, and read further posts in this
forum, since they are quite informative on a lot of subjects concerning Movie
Maker. I use a program called AVS Converter (cost is $29.95 at
www.avsmedia.com -last time I looked) to convert to various video formats and
sizes....it is a great program for other uses too. There are other
programs, some of which are free, that others can tell you about too. For
AVS Converter you can try the free trial to see if you like it....bet you do!
ha ha Good luck.

That's for replying, but the video is in AVI format, actually all the videos
I've used in Movie Maker were AVI's. Anyway, I'll try to do something with
the suggestions of yours, thanks!
