Am getting

Error eventID 404 NTDS ISAM.

NTDS (264) Synchronous read page checksum error. Please
restore the database from old backup.

Please give me solution for this.

Do you have any system state backups? It sounds like you may need to restore
AD.

I dont have any good backup(previous).so that option is
ruled out.

If I run a integrity check(ntdsutil - file maintenance)?
what log files should I delete ? E00*.log ? each with 10
MB files ?

I don't think deleting your Active Directory log files will help with your
ntds.dit corruption.

A restore from backup would be the best solution but in this case as there
is no backup you could try the procedure in this KB to use ntdsutil to
repair the database. http://support.microsoft.com/?id=315131#7

If this doesn't help, I would log a support call with PSS to see if they
have any other repair tools that might help.

Thank you Simon. But this step I'd already used and
finished the repairing of database. But after I finish the
repair, it didnt occur. After some days, the error re
occured.

Please tell me how can I resolve this issue with no data
loss.

Also, I have doubt that If there is any impact on
replication of user data in the database ?. It it got
replicated, then how will I secure my database (I'm
taking daily backup), even one day data loss will create
major prblm for me. I'm waiting for your reply.

If you have a frequent corruption in your AD database with no backups you
should put in a support call to Microsoft. There are no repair utilities I
know of that are widely available to the public but I'm sure Microsoft have
some repair tools.
