Error Win32

I keep getting an error message window saying Win32 must
shut down. Does this mean I have a virus? I caught the
virus that makes your computer shut down so I was thinking
this might be similar. Please help. Thanks! I'm using
Windows XP on a HP laptop if that's any use.

Have you visited Windows Update to make sure your
machine is up-to-date, and a vendor site, like Symantec
for Stinger, to use AV checkers from a couple vendors?
If so and this is happening, check the event log for added
info, try to generalize about what you have just done or
what is running when this happens, and consider using
malware scanning tool (like SpyBot, etc.).
