While scanpst might be of some use, I don't see how the disk being full
would elicit the error.

This seems to indicate to me that you have autoarchive enabled on your
archive PST. Check to see if that's true. One doesn't usually archive from
an archive. It also indicates to me that there may be an issue writing to
that archive. If I were in your shoes, I'd close Outlook, rename this
particular archive PST, and let Outlook create a new one the next time it
wants to run autoarchive.
