It would make it much easier for us to understand the question, if you
actually provided a full question with information we can work with. Give
some details.

There's a hidden worksheet in that workbook.

Window|unhide
and unhide Validation

The formula in Y2 should be: =Bracket!R40
The formula in Y3 should be: =Bracket!R42

The Formula in Z2 should be: =Bracket!R44
The Formula in Z2 should be: =Bracket!R46

Each column is the previous cell +4 rows (R40, R44, R48, ... or R42, R46, R50,
....)

Then rehide the Validation sheet (to keep prying fingers off it!).

I didn't look any further, though.

Make that Format|Sheet|Unhide (not Window|Unhide).

If you're using xl2007, then rightclick on any tab and select Unhide...

There's probably no "ohio st" that I know of where I am, Dave.
But think I could try your steps to uncover it <g>

The NCAA College basketball tournament is starting this week.

MS provides a template for office pools, er, entertainment purposes only:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/TC102166811033.aspx

But there's a problem with a couple of formulas--and the cells with the formulas
are used as a list in some Data|Validation cells.

Ohio State University was awarded a number one seed (so they'll play a #16
seed). They've had a very good year.

Thanks for clarifying, Dave
My apologies for misreading your earlier response
No way I would have been able to unravel it earlier

Hi Dave

Why aren't you in Seattle?
Or are you there and you have skipped some of the sessions to come on
line and answer a few more posts?

There was a post in another newsgroup that gave me the hint.
And there was me thinking that it was a mind reading act again <g>

I couldn't make it.

Besides, someone has to be here to answer:
Tools|Options|General Tab|Uncheck R1C1 Reference style

Hi Dave
I couldn't make it.
Shame, I'm sure you'll be sorely missed.
On the other hand, great for us that you're still around whilst everyone
else is drinking (I mean working)<vbg>

From what it sounds like, there's a lot of working during the days. And I think
they all do "homework" to prepare for the next day's meetings.

I sent you a private message for a different question (that I failed with).

Maybe you can jump in there?????
