I get this when going into Outlook. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks very much.

Task 'Hotmail: Folder:Inbox Synchronizing headers.' reported error
(0x800CCCF6) : 'An unknown error has occurred. Please save any existing work
and restart the program.'

Try creating a new Outlook profile from scratch and tell Outlook to open with
that profile. See if that fixes the problem.

OK, two questions:

1) Can you still open Outlook after getting that error message?
2) Is this a free Hotmail account or a paid one?

1. Yes, Outlook still works and I get mail on another email address.
2. Free One, What are the details on a paid one?

I saw your previous conversation w/ 'ArchAutoCo' user & I had the same
question, but didn't see the final answer...so if you can help, I'd greatly
appreciate it. In answer to your question below:

1) YES. I can still access Outlook even after the error message comes up
(assuming that is referring to being able to use the calendar, tasks, etc.
FYI...I should also mention that I use a Dell Axim & sync up my tasks &
calendar items).
2) YES. The email account I'm trying to sync up w/ Outlook is the FREE
Hotmail account.

So what say ye? Thanks in advance for any help you can lend. Swen.
