Error when opening email

Ray

When I open some emails, the following error displays:-

The add-in "C:\Program Files\Symantec AntiVirus\vpmsece2.dll" could not be
installed or loaded. This problem may be resolved by using Detect and
Repair on the Help menu.

I did it accordingly but problem exists. Can someone advise any possible
solutions.

Thanks,

Ray

Uninstall Norton Antivirus!

You've uninstalled Notron AntiVirus but it didn't clean up well after
itself. Click Tools>Options>Other>Advanced Options and look ni both COM
Add-Ins and Add-In Manager for the above. Either uncheck the box next to it
or select it and click Remove. Stop and restart Outlook.

Brian,

Thanks for your advice. I found SAVCOPR90 and Symantec AntiViurs checked in
Add-In Manager. Do I need to uncheck them all? There is no Remove button
in it but has a Install... button. Do I need to uninstall SAVCE and
re-install it again? Before doing above or after?

Your further advice is appreciated!

Ray

I would, at least for now. Do them one at a time, though, so you can tell
which of the add-ins in causing trouble.

In the Add-In Manager, there is no Remove. That's in the COM Add-Ins. Just
uncheck in Add-In Manager.
