simple COUNTIF and VLOOKUP functions does not work, I see a % symbol in place
of comma "," for example = COUNTIF(range%criteria) this is what apperas in my
excel workbook( using intellisence).

=COUNTIF(B2:B25%"APPLE"). even when I separate range and criteria using ","
does not work.

well normal SUM and AVERAGE functions work well as I dont have any cirteria
to give.

I really appreciate your help.

Thanks
