Error Reporting and Group Policy

In my group policy, I have disabled error reporting in
computer configuration\admin templates\system\error
reporting. However, the setting is not being disabled
and is not even grayed out. Other settings in my group
policy are working fine. Any ideas on what might be
happening?

When you run RSOP.MSC, (start -> run -> rsop.msc) on the client does the
policy setting show? Also are there any errors in the event logs?

The policy shows that error reporting is disabled. There
are no errors in the event logs either.

What is it that you believe this policy will stop from happening ?
AIUI this controls the report to MS of abend data when an app fails.

Are you applying this from an AD based GPO?
If not, how have you set this on the local machine ?

I am trying to disable the error reporting to Microsoft.
I am applying this via an AD based GPO.
