I am using Outlook 2002 with Spamnet. My computer has 512Mb RAM.
I have had this problem before.
I go on holidays and return to hundreds of emails. In this case, when I
check the number on my ISP's website I see that I have 1901.
When I click on Send/Receive it says that I have 1279 messages. It downloads
them all putting them in their respective folders. No problem - though it
leaves the balance of the 1901 messages behind.
However, after downloading the 1279 messages, I get a Send/Receive error
saying that the program is out of resources and to close down other
programs.
The only other program open is Spamnet.
If I close the Error message and click on Send/Receive, it starts to
download the messages again!
This is maddening.
How can I give Outlook more resources so that it downloads ALL the messages
at the first time of asking?
Thanks.

ps..Sometimes, before starting to download a lot of messages, a message
appears saying that there are not enough resources to put the messages in
their allocated folders, so it puts them all in the Inbox.
