error on logon - LogWatNT.exe

Hi,

Everytime I start my windows XP Pro I receive a message box that
"LogWatNT.exe detected a problem and was closed". When I click on 'Close'
button it goes away and everything else works fine.

What is happening, and how can I correct this?

This seems to be related to software form Computer Associates. See

fixing the logwatnt.exe error during startup

After I uninstalled CA eTrust and replaced it with Norton 360 on my Windows XP Pro PC, I had the LogwatNT.exe error everytime I started the PC.

Solution: Delete logwatNT.exe from c:\windows where it was located
Next, go to regedit and remove every instance of logwatNT.exe

Problem was solved after next restart.
