Error: Object is not connected to server

Hi buddies, I need so help, I gonna a try to explain my problem, you'll see,
I'm user of IE 6.0 in Windows 2003 server standard edition and I get the
error message "done but with error" in the status bar then when I click on
it, it says "Line: XX char XX, error: object is not connected to server
code: 0" and any of the pages could be loaded with the embedded link unless
I copy the shortcuts and paste in the address bar then go...

My first action was change the security settings in my browser dropped to
low all the options (internet and local intranet) and didn't resolve this
issue.

Can you get me any ideas? I'm very frustrated 'cause all my attempts to fix
the problem has failed, so please help me.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Sounds like if something on that page tries to access a program that is
supposed to be started, but it isn't.

- Check for spyware using Adaware, Spybot and Windows Defender
- Add that particular site to trusted sites (at least: if you are sure
that that is what you want)
- Update Windows and IE visiting http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

Still no luck? Ask the author of the webpage if no one else reported this
problem.

Kind regards

Hans

Hans:

Thanks for answering, yes, actually I'm using Microsoft Antispyware and yes,
it's possible to this software is affecting, now I remember a few weeks ago
I didn't install the automatic update of the antispyware it comes with the
new bitdefender that's the reason.

I'll unninstall and try again, the pages that I mentioned is ALL, including
the yahoo pages, microsoft pages, even my intranet pages, those doesn't have
internet connection...today installed the java runtime and with your
comments hope that's the solution. About the way, another AntiSpyware in
mind, free of course? =)

Thanx again,

Hiram
