[Error number: 0x8024D00C

I accidently deleted my service pack2 windows update and I've tried to
reinstall it through the website, but it won't let me I keep getting [Error
number: 0x8024D00C.
I also tried the advice from the two last posts, but it didn't work either.
Help!! What should I do?

I don't know what the last to post said but have you tried with the Firewall
& Virus protection turned off.
Can you post the exact Error Message?

Check that "Cryptographic Services" service is set to automatic and is started.

Start>Run>type services.msc and press OK.
