Mario,

The "ipconfig /all" output is most useful when presented from several computers.
Nothing obvious in that one anyway.

The error "Network path not found" is a name resolution problem.
# Are you sure there's no overlooked firewall? What antivirus is in use?

The restrictanonymous registry setting can interfere with name resolution. Look
for unnecessary protocols too.

If this is a company LAN, does the LAN use name servers, maybe DNS, for
resolution?

This sounds like a possible power management problem (unless you're using it
all this time). I would check all power properties including any specific
to the NIC.

If that isn't the problem, is there any issue with your network access from
the laptop when the others lose the shares? Once the shares are lost, what
has to be done to regain them? Remap on the workstations? Reboot your
laptop?

Hi

unfortunately beacause of a workstation crash I had to restore my
laptop and the issue there is no more...

Anyway, before my restore, when shares was lost there is no problem for
laptop network access and the only way to restore the shares to make
them visible by others, is to restart my notebook.

When the problem raise again I will try to apply the solutions
suggested.

Hi

The network issue is come back again and others workstation lost shares

on my pc (Network path not found).

Moreover in MY pc I executed with error:

C:\>net view my_pc_name
System error 53 has occurred.

The network path was not found.
C:\>

and

C:\>net view my_pc_IP
System error 53 has occurred.

The network path was not found.
C:\>

The solution seems to be like following:

1) Open:
"Local Area connection" --> Properties
"Internet protocol (TCP\IP)" --> Properties
Click on "Advanced..."
Tab "Wins"
Select "Enable TCP/IP over Netbios"
(old value was "Default: use netbios...")

2) Disable "Local Area connection"
3) Enable "Local Area connection"

I found this solution reading some (I don't remeber exactly
what... :$ ) Chuck suggested pages .

thank you very much to Chuck
