error msg..when working on movie maker

hi...
I have installed MM2 .. after importing video.. when I
try to drag it to timeline.. it gives an error.. and
exits... also I cannot use effects (transition and
visiual) its the same error and also exists the MM2...
may be confilcts...
Please let me know the solution.. or what can be the
problem...
